Transportation Coordinating Council
A partnership to exchange ideas on transportation infrastructure, engineering, and policy.
The Transportation Coordinating Council (TCC) brings together all of Rutgers’ teaching and research entities that deal with transportation. It was formed under the direction of Rutgers President Richard L. McCormick and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs Philip Furmanski.
TCC is a forum for various interested parties to exchange ideas on issues relating to infrastructure, transportation systems, congestion, movement of people and goods, public transit, security, safety, and the environment.
The council works cooperatively and across disciplines to examine and solve pressing transportation issues. A diverse committee from different organizations throughout Rutgers and New Jersey, each member brings a different perspective and contribution.
