RITS is a collaborative effort between the university, state and federal governments, and the transportation industry. New Jersey has always been in the forefront of this field. Indeed, some of the most visible and successful intelligent transportation systems (ITS) deployment projects in the United States are located in New Jersey. Through extensive research, education, and outreach, RITS helps fill the nation’s growing need for ITS development and application.
