DESCRIPTION:Course Description:\nThis is a one-day workshop. This class aims to advance the practitioner’s knowledge of roundabout basics as well as fundamentals of traffic operations and geometric design. We will share both best and noteworthy practices\, as well as the latest research in modern roundabout design. Topics introduced will cover: \n\nIntroduction to Modern Roundabouts\nRoundabout Types and Contexts\nTraffic Operations Fundamentals\nGeometric Design Fundamentals\nDesign Details\nRoundabout Design Guidance\nRoundabout Education\n\nAttendees are encouraged to bring local case studies of current or potential roundabout projects to be discussed during the workshop. \n*NO MEALS ARE PROVIDED.
