DESCRIPTION:New Jersey is a Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) focus state for Pedestrians and Intersections with approximately 50% of fatal and serious injury crashes occurring on the local system. \nThis workshop provides guidance on the FHWA Proven Safety Countermeasures that local public agencies can implement within existing and potential projects to successfully address roadway departure\, intersection\, and pedestrian and bicycle crashes including a discussion on the potential funding sources (both federal and state).
