This 3 day webinar is designed for experienced highway work zone personnel who seek training in work zone traffic control. NJDOT and other agencies require a contractor to assign a supervisory-level employee with requisite onsite experience to act as the Traffic Control Coordinator (TCC) on roadway construction projects. This course offers 25 PDH towards NJ licensed engineers continuing professional competency credit. The program is also open to those who seek to increase their work zone safety and traffic control knowledge, but may not require the formal TCC designation that has prerequisite requirements. Participants who successfully complete this course will be eligible to serve as TCC and shall have the responsibility and authority to implement and maintain all traffic operations for the project. Those with prerequisites will receive a TCC wallet card upon successful completion of the course and exam. Those who do not will receive a course certificates of attendance with applicable PDH credit.

Please note: This is a 3 day program.  Full attendance  is required to receive credit and a TCC designation provided you have met all the below listed prerequisites.

The course covers standard work zone protection as specified in the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Sessions on OSHA, NJDOT, and state police relationships and work zone traffic control liability issues are included.
