Risk Analysis of the Transit Vessel Traffic in the Straight of Istanbul

The Strait of Istanbul, the narrow waterway separating Europe from Asia, holds a strategic importance in maritime transportation as it links the Black Sea to the Mediterranean. It is considered one of the world’s most congested and difficult-to-navigate waterways.

LPS’s technical expertise includes large-scale simulation models for port and waterway logistics, performance analysis, risk analysis, and supply chain logistics—all of which are crucial to mitigate risks, optimize operations, and develop effective procedures for prevention and recovery in the face of high-impact port closures.
