Regional Maritime Symposium

Join us for the Regional Maritime Symposium, a full-day forum focused on the growing importance of the maritime industry in the New Jersey–New York region!
Though often overlooked, maritime infrastructure plays a vital role in regional commerce, tourism, and connectivity—and its economic impact continues to expand. This event will bring together experts and stakeholders from the port industry, maritime association, federal and state government, and academia to explore infrastructure needs, funding strategies, governance models, and data gaps.
A key outcome will be the development of an Action Plan to guide future maritime research, education, and leadership in the region.
Hosted by Rutgers CAIT, MAPONYNJ, NJDOT Office of Maritime Resources, and the Regional Plan Association, the symposium is a must-attend for anyone invested in the future of maritime development.
