This course will provide participants with fundamental knowledge on public transport and sustainable urban mobility, and increase awareness on the indispensability of public transport and sustainable mobility solutions in cities. Attendees will benefit from a unique exchange of knowledge and experience between professionals, tapping UITP’s international expertise.

1. Present and discuss basic definitions related to the organization and management of public transport and illustrate them with examples
2. Provide a conducive platform for networking opportunities and interaction amongst participants
3. Participate in interactive plenary sessions with introductions by course leaders, presentations by trainers and open discussions with participants

5. Address the topic from an international perspective, enriched by different cultural approaches and points of views

Intended Audience:

• Junior and senior professionals entering the field of public transport (less than 2 year- experience in public transport)
• Applicants must have a good command of English to appreciate the program
