Police Work Zone Safety Refresher (Webinar)

Whether you’re new to the force or a veteran officer, there will be times when you are assigned to enforce safety laws in work zones for long-term or short-term projects. This course will provide you with a refresher to help you understand and comply with the MUTCD.
NJLTAP - Principles of Paving (In-Person)

This course is for municipal or county employees and those that work with them who are involved in the planning, inspecting and placing of asphalt pavements. The course will provide the information needed to properly plan and monitor a hot mix asphalt paving project.

The training covers topics including TIM guidelines, fundamentals, and terminology; notifications and scene size up; scene safety and risk management; traffic management; special circumstances; clearance; and termination.
NJLTAP - Guidelines for Guide Rail and Median Barrier Design (In-Person)

This 2-day workshop will cover the current design guidelines in Section 8 of the NJDOT Roadway Design Manual, covering clear zone, warranting obstructions, guide rail height, clearance from traveled way, rubrail, reduced post spacing at obstructions, guide rail at structures, and more.

Traffic Control Coordinator Program (In-person)

This 3-day program is designed for experienced highway work zone personnel who seek training in work zone traffic control. NJDOT and other agencies require a contractor to assign a supervisory-level employee with requisite onsite experience to act as the Traffic Control Coordinator (TCC) on roadway construction projects.

NJLTAP - Traffic Engineering Studies (In-Person)

This course will review basic concepts in probability and statistics and their application in designing traffic control features and regulating traffic by examining methodologies for conducting speed studies, evaluating intersection controls, safety analyses and quantifying the effectiveness of safety treatments.

NJLTAP - Asphalt Roads: Common Maintenance Problems (In-person)

NJLTAP - Vision Zero: Implementing a Towards Zero Deaths Strategy (In-Person)

NJDHTS - NJTR-1 Crash Form Refresher (Webinar)

This course covers common NJTR-1 errors for both passenger and commercial motor vehicle (CMV) crashes and offers methods to improve crash data quality. Crash analysis software functions and the role of data in crash analysis will be discussed.

NJLTAP - Commonsense Solutions to Intersection Problems (In-Person)
