Summary:

This research will compile pavement response data, and material response data collected as part of the Accelerate Pavement Testing of the recycled pavement sections, with Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) data collected on the filed trial pavement recycling sections to create a comprehensive database that will be used to analyze the behavior of recycled pavement sections and material and their evolution and deterioration over (accelerated) time. A central part of the analysis will be to model the recycled pavement sections using Finite Element Analysis to predict stresses and strains collected from the instrumented sections.
