Summary:

The overall goal of this study is to determine the most optimal time to apply pavement preservation treatments. Researchers will conduct full-scale accelerated pavement testing and performance evaluation. They also will examine different pavement alternatives, conducting comprehensive performance evaluations in the laboratory. This specific project seeks to develop the most cost-effective, efficient methods for roadway preservation in New Jersey.
