Course Description:
This workshop reviews basic statistics and analytical/visualization techniques focused on publicly available data related to public works administration. Foundational and advanced statistical analysis technique concentrating on how to access, manage, and analyze datasets to support public works administration.

Content Covered:

  1. Descriptive statistics review
  2. Inferential statistics review
  3. Publicly available data sources related to public works administration (PWA)
  4. Data analysis and visualization techniques for PWA
  5. How to apply AI in PWA

Intended Audience:
State DOT engineers and analysts, MPO and county transportation planner, public works professionals, traffic operations and safety engineers, and data analysts working with transportation/public works datasets

Withdrawal Policy: If you find yourself unable to attend a class for any reason, please submit a withdrawal request by emailing caitregistrar@soe.rutgers.edu. To be eligible for a refund for fee-based classes, you must email a withdrawal request at least 72 hours before class begins.
