A message to our readers-
We’ve come through a year that was filled with both challenges and victories. NJLTAP workshop trainings started off in 2020 like every other year, but in mid-March there became no choice but to start postponing events. Soon, we learned we would need to transition to virtual training so we could maintain a high level of service to our stakeholders. Thankfully, our team was able to expedite the transition and maintain continuity of programs. We have been able to provide as much, if not more, access to workshops over the course of 2020. I greatly appreciate your patience as we experimented with logistics and a virtual platform that was as new to us as it was to you.
While it is unclear what 2021 will hold, I am certain we will continue to provide many training opportunities so you are able to retain your professional licenses and continue your professional development. There are some wonderful new workshops planned for next year, as well as those that are needed for compliance and refreshers. At this point in time, all training will be virtual through at least May 2021. While virtual training can be convenient and is even preferred by some of our audience, not everyone is comfortable with online learning. If at any point in time you need assistance in attending a virtual workshop, please do not hesitate to reach out to NJLTAP staff. All of us are happy to help you to get the most out of attending online training. Until we can convene in person again- please know the NJLTAP team is here and available for training support and technical assistance via email or telephone.
Traditionally, our last newsletter of the year would have had a group photo wishing you a joyful holiday season. Current circumstances prevented us from being able to gather for that photo. On behalf of all of us at NJLTAP, I wish all of you safe and happy holidays; and, above all – good health and prosperity in 2021.
Sincerely,
Janet Leli
