Course Description:
Projects are part of our work and personal lives. Large projects, small projects. But no matter the project and its size, there are fundamental best practices and principles that can guide projects. This course is designed to introduce many of these best practices to any audience. Whether you are new or experienced, you will walk away from this class with new outlooks and ideas about how to be a better project manager or team member.
At the completion of this course, you will understand common terms used in project management, learn the use of tools and techniques to manage projects, and have a better understanding of the principles of planning, controlling and evaluating projects.

- Identify project management terminology

Local road agencies, consultant engineers, and public works personnel who may be responsible for overseeing projects
