NJLTAP – 2023 MS4 Stormwater Permit Changes (Webinar)

  • June 10
  • 10:00 am–11:30 am

Course Description:
This mini webinar will help public works departments understand and comply with the 2023 MS4 Stormwater Permit Changes.

In 2023, New Jersey’s MS4 stormwater permit underwent significant changes, including the implementation of a two-tier system (Tier A and Tier B) with varying requirements, a focus on developing Watershed Improvement Plans (WIPs), and the Inland Flood Protection Rule, all aimed at improving water quality and flood resilience. The changes introduced a number of significant changes for municipalities and the new requirements will require significant upgrades to New Jersey municipalities’ stormwater programs. Most notably, municipalities formerly classified as Tier B must now meet the same requirements as Tier A municipalities.
