AEESP Distinguished Lecture Series: Diane M. McKnight

Each year, the Distinguished Lecturer is selected by the Lecturers Committee of the Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors (AEESP), in recognition of his or her excellence as both a researcher and educator and ability to give engaging oral presentations to members of the environmental engineering community and the general public. Please join us for the 2019/2020 speaker, Diane M. McKnight, and her lecture titled “Trouble Ahead Trouble Behind: Acid Mine Drainage & Climate Change in the Rocky Mountains.”
Diane M. McKnight is a Professor in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering, a member of the Environmental Engineering program faculty and a Fellow of the Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research at the University of Colorado. Her research focuses on the coupling of hydrology and water quality in streams and lakes, and the consequences for aquatic ecosystems and water supplies.
Hosted by the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering and Department of Environmental Sciences at Rutgers University, the event will feature a poster and networking session from 3-4:30 pm, followed by the seminar at 5 pm.
