Summary:

This proposal aims to design and develop training curricula including the development of assessment instruments for deriving both formative and summative learning outcomes.  This curricula will evaluate the practical flight abilities of prospective UAS pilots.  The team will also provide research into powered tether systems for long duration UAS flights.

The team will evaluate UAS tether for use cases such as traffic monitoring. The project will evaluate UAS operations and make recommendations on procedures for inspection to assist decision making by regional agencies. This tool can significantly impact the quality of data and lower the risk portfolio for missions.
