NJLTAP – Equipment and Worker Safety

This course is intended to provide instruction to entry level participants and a refresher for experienced participants on a variety of construction industry safety and health standards. This training effort is aimed at promoting workplace safety and health. Topics will include; An introduction to OSHA and it’s standards, Hazard Communication, Personal Protective Equipment, Electrical Safety, Scaffolds, Trenching, Fall Protection, and Highway Work Zones.
Intended Audience: Individuals who are performing maintenance, construction, or temporary work zones on municipal and county roadways including crew foremen, equipment operators, laborers, and supervisors. This course is not geared towards law enforcement.

Withdrawal Policy: In the event that you are unable to attend a program for any reason, please note you must submit your withdrawal in writing at least 72 hours in advance of the start of a program to receive a refund. If am emailed or faxed withdrawal is not received by our department, the full program fee will be charged and is nonrefundable. A phone call asking for withdrawal is not sufficient.
