Dr. Bekir Bartin is an assistant professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Altınbaş University (formerly Kemerburgaz University) in Instanbul, Turkey. His research interests include transportation simulation and modeling, incident management, economic evaluation of transportation projects, and collection and statistical analysis of traffic data.

Dr. Bartin has been with the school since 2012. Prior to his current position he was a research associate at Rutgers University from 2006 to 2012.
