This course provides the basics for developing a road surface management program to help local governments manage their pavements by providing an understanding of the concept and importance of road surface inventories and condition surveys. Bridge Management Systems - Infrastructure Asset Management Academy

Public Works departments will be challenged all winter long with maintaining safe walking surfaces for the public. This presentation will discuss how to prevent and manage icy walking surfaces under the responsibility of municipalities and counties, such as sidewalks.

Slide-in bridge construction (SIBC) is one of several accelerated bridge construction (ABC) technologies being advanced by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Compared to more traditional methods of bridge construction, and due to its shorter work zone durations and reduced impacts on traffic, SIBC has many benefits.
